Tools are new components in Horizon which can be divided into 4 categories:
- Common Tools
- Simple Tools
- Precision Tools
- Kitchen Tools
These can often be obtained as raw components by scrapping "weapons" of the same name. Tools are required for building workbenches and/or dismantling world items such as e.g. machines and vehicles. There are plenty of tools as part of loot in containers and enemies but can also be crafted in the Tech Lab if they are rare. Various tools can be exchanged for other items using the Market Trading Terminal.
